RICHIE KOTZEN @ Wentz Concert Hall – Naperville, IL

I’ve been so caught up on editing nonstop that I needed to step away from my computer to recharge with a few great live shows this weekend. Friday night – sitting in a theatre of couples out on dates in Naperville, IL – me and bae (my sexy Nikon) wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else in the world. It’s shows like these that crawl in, latch themselves onto your soul, fuel you up + change you in ways you didn’t think were possible.

I’ll never forget seeing Richie play for the first time on the Def Leppard Cruise. After his set I walked silently back to my cabin, sat on my balcony with both feet on the floor + my hands at my knees just staring out at the ocean trying to figure out what just happened to me for 26 and a half hours straight. Yes, that amazing.
