What a pleasure it was getting asked to come along and join Melissa Etheridge and her team as they did a walking tour of Old San Juan. The trip was to end up with a meeting with the city so she can present a $33,000 to go towards hurricane relief efforts. Talk about an amazing gesture on her part.
Here are some photos that I took during our walk around town. I was pulling double duty filming behind the scenes b-roll for her recap video for the cruise, but I made sure to switch gears and capture some photos of this beautiful, colorful city! I can’t wait to go back and spend more than a few hours there. Big thanks to the City of San Juan for the goody drawstring bag they gave us filled with a keychain, notepad, mug, pins + more!
My awesome friend Alisha and I made sure to grab some lunch before we had to be back at the port. We asked some locals around town where the best spots were to grab authentic Puerto Rican food and they immediately pointed us towards a rooftop restaurant called Punto De Vista inside the Hotel Milano.
They had the best fish tacos I’ve ever had + Alisha ordered the sexiest looking mofongo. We came just in time for 2 for 1 mojitos that the bartender made sure to bring over himself and ask how we enjoyed them. The service was so excellent and staff all made it feel like you were part of their family. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Old San Juan.
